Cuma Pantshwa started her career path in the field of television producing after completing her Journalism and Drama degree at Rhodes University.
Her career was kick-started in one of South Africa’s iconic production companies, Urban Brew Productions in 2001. Making great TV and being part of a tight knit team she produced some of South Africa’s biggest television shows such as Yo.TV’s Blue Couch and South Africa’s first live interactive show, Wild Room.
A skilled content specialist, after 7 years at Urban Brew with involvement in various shows with different formats she left production seeking growth and wanting to hone her skills in broadcasting by joining the South African Broadcasting Corporation as Commissioning Editor for Children working mainly on the award-winning Takalani Sesame. Her passion and love for youth and brands saw her marry the two when she joined HDI Youth Marketeers in 2010 where she looked after many clients including P&G, SAB and SAICA to name a few. She journeyed and grew into an accomplished leader in the business in a number of roles including Stakeholder and Client Service Director as well as Youth Solutions Executive.
She is passionate about life, ideas, and people – she is a mother of three, an incurable optimist who loves entertaining, running and seeing the world!
Zama Nkosi-Mabuye is a Creative Director who has had a career in the publishing, ideation and marketing industry. Her love and dedication to storytelling, building genuine connections between brands and their consumers and women-centric issues have been the common thread in all the roles that she has worked in. She has worked with brands such as COSMOPOLITAN magazine, Mercedes-Benz SA, Essays of Africa, Nedbank CIB and SAB.
Her interests have led to her collaborating with like-minded women in an effort to positively impact their surroundings while carving out their own path.
Her down time is spent with loved ones, practicing yoga, binging on books and reality TV and making killer mimosas.
